ACE/PACE Program

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:

Due to enrollment limitations, effective Fall 2009 the ACE/PACE Program has been suspended until further notice.

ACCELERATED COLLEGE ENROLLMENT (ACE): 

The ACE program at Cal State L.A. is open to high school 11th and 12th grade students who have demonstrated high academic ability and have at least an overall GPA of 3.00.

PRE-ACCELERATED COLLEGE ENROLLMENT (PACE): 

 The PACE program at Cal State L.A. is open to high school 9th and 10th grade students who are identified as GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) students by their high school districts, and have at least an overall GPA of 3.00.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

1. A completed contact information sheet.
2. One copy of transcripts:  
 

A) ACE - high school transcript

 

B) PACE –high school transcript (if not available, middle school transcript)

3. A completed recommendation form from high school principal or counselor. Click here for the form. (Adobe Acrobat Reader required)
4. Written permission from a parent or guardian to participate.
5. (PACE Only) Proof of GATE status.

COST:

Current fees are approximately $202.25 (plus the cost of books and supplies) per quarter; all fees are subject to change without notice.
