Join Cal State L.A. for the One Campus, One Book community reading experience for all students, faculty, staff and administrators.
Selected for 2008-2009, The Tattooed Soldier—by Héctor Tobar, Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter at the Los Angeles Times—is a suspense-filled novel that weaves many themes of the immigrant experience into the Los Angeles urban experience.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to incorporate study of the book into classes and campus events throughout the year.
The One Campus, One Book web page (www.calstatela.edu/library/ocob) includes themes, resources, and a developing list of events that includes a lecture by the author. Please help develop this web page and join in this community-building experience.
