Check with your local high school counselor to ensure that your academic program meets the A-G course requirements.

Collect contact information from your counselor and/or teachers that know you well including their name, title, and e-mail address which you will need when filling out the EOP application.

Submit a CSU Application for Undergraduate Admission online at www.csumentor.edu during the application period of October 1st –November 30th.  On Screen 11 of the application make sure to answer YES to “Do you wish to apply through the Educational Opportunity Program?” Note: The EOP Application is separate from the University Application. EOP application period is October 1st – November 30th, 2013.

All supplemental documents must be received in the EOP office by march 2, 2014 (Letters of recommendation and transcripts).

Once you have completed the University Application, a link to the online EOP application will appear on your confirmation page which you must fill out to be considered for the program.

Screen 5 (References) of the EOP application is where you will submit the contact information you had previously collected. Your references will receive an electronic recommendation form that is to be completed on-line and submitted directly to each campus to which you are applying.

If you have not already taken one of the college entrance exams, ACT/SAT, you must take them no later than the December test dates.

Attend a mandatory EOP Information Session on one of the announced dates. This information will be forwarded to you upon receipt of your application to the program. December 2013

Students who did not submit their application fee on-line or whose fee waiver was denied must submit their $55 application fee by December 13, 2013.

January 2014

Submit unofficial high school (w/1st semester of 12th grade) and/or college transcripts to EOP.

ALL EOP APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A FAFSA! Apply in January 2014 for financial aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You should receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) electronically confirming your FAFSA was received. Immediately reply to any requests for additional information.

Students with a grade point average (g.p.a.) of 2.0 or higher should also complete the Cal Grant GPA Verification form. You may go online at www.calgrants.org or consult your college counselor for details.February 2014

Once you receive your Campus Identification Number (CIN) and your Personal Identification Number (PIN), log onto GET to check on your application status or call the University Admissions Office at (323) 343-3901.

Any updates to your University Application for Admissions Eligibility should be received by February 15, 2014. For information about updating your application, visit www.calstatela.edu/univ/admiss/appupdate.php March 201

Submit any missing EOP and/or Admissions Supplemental Documents to the EOP office by March 2, 2014.

April 2014

Submit Intent to Register with $100 deposit to the University by May 1, 2014 deadline. June 20

June 2014

Submit official final high school transcripts (with graduation date posted) and/or Test Scores (SAT, ACT, AP, etc.) to Admissions (Student Information Center, Student Affairs Room 101) and request a receipt no later than July 15, 2014 deadline.

July 2014

Submit New Student Orientation registration and payment no later than TBA.

Summer Bridge students must attend an all day mandatory workshop on TBA.

Summer Bridge begins TBA.
