Who We Are
· An award-winning student-driven organization whose focus is to learn about international organizations and relationships through the study of the United Nations.
· While the class is a Political Science course, we are a diverse group with varying backgrounds. Some of the majors represented by our students have been: Literature, History, Social Sciences, Political Science, Biology, Economics, Latin American Studies, Philosophy, and others.
· This class is designed to teach students about larger themes than simply the ins and outs of the United Nations. A new Model United Nations student can expect to gain experience in negotiations, public speaking, comparative thought, research skills, and confidence-building.
