Level B

Students must have good typing skills, be extremely accurate, and be able to learn and execute library procedures.

Must be willing to do heavy lifting.

Main responsibility is to shelve documents and other material according to three different classification schemes; files legislative bills, fiches, and shelf-list cards according to classification numbers; help type labels for documents and various correspondence. Other duties may include processing of mail; photocopying; shifts stacks; charges out documents; and or reads shelves.

May also do occasional reference work with Library Users.

Performs related duties as required within the job level of responsibilities.
