  • The Internet Public Library (IPL).   • Infomine. This scholarly internet resource collection is maintained by librarians from the University of California, California State University, Wake Forest University, and the University of Detroit - Mercy.  Perform a search for useful websites on a particular topic or browse subjects in the Social Sciences and Humanities ranging from Abandoned Children to Zoroastrianism.
     
  • The Open Directory Project (ODP). Constructed and maintained by a global community of volunteer editors, the Open Directory Project claims itself as the largest human-edited directory of the Web. The Society and/or Social Sciences directories may be especially helpful for Sociology research.
     
  • Yahoo's Sociology Resources. This lists Internet resources related to general sociology and provides separate pages covering more specialized sociological topics.
