Marketing Student Recognition Award Certificate Program

Student Achievement Recognition


The students in the Marketing program are eligible to receive SAP Recognition Award Certificate by completing three designated SAP related courses. This Recognition Award Certificate is issued by the college signed by the CBE Dean and the SAP University Alliances Program Director.  The purpose is to recognize students at UA member universities that have spent notable time using the SAP product suite. 


The specific criteria determined by the Department of Marketing for eligibility to receive the SAP Recognition Award Certificates are as follows:

Students must complete the following three courses containing SAP content with a B- or better grade:


MKT 349 Retail Merchandising and Sales Promotion                                

MKT 547 Seminar: Retail Management                                                                  

BUS 513 Marketing Management in Global Environment


SAP TERP10 Professional Certification


Students wanting to pursue further in this field can proceed to obtain the entry level TERP10 certificate. To obtain this certificate, the students who have completed the coursework from a UA member school need to follow an additional two-week long course taught by a TERP10 instructor and pass an examination. The estimated cost for each student is about $800 which covers nine days of instruction and the examination which is administered on the last day of the two-week course.  The UA offers TERP10 certification courses in the greater Los Angeles area.
