I obtained my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. I am the current Coordinator for the School Psychology program in the Division of Administration and Counseling. I also serve as a program reviewer for the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and have participated in developing the new standards for training school psychologists in California.

I teach courses primarily in individual assessment and case study techniques, microskills in counseling, counseling strategies, learning disabilities, and mental health consultation.

My primary interests are in mental health consultation and individual assessment. My current projects include reviewing and redeveloping criteria and methods for the assessment and remediation of learning disabilities.
