INTRODUCTION

I have been teaching in the Educational Technology and Leadership program in the Charter College of Education for the past ten years. Here I teach courses that focus on instructional design and technology, media production, computer education, and learning theories. Student advisement is an important part of my work here as I am in charge of the Instructional Technology Internship Program. Prior to my professorship at CSULA, I taught in the Department of Educational Policy and Leadership at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

My research areas include cognitive project-based learning, knowledge building communities, experience design, visual thinking, and blended learning.
