The Sandy Beach
A walk along the beach allows you to discover a whole new world. A beach is where the land meets the water. Beaches are made because sea cliffs have eroded away. Sand that has been left on the beach from ocean waves or by rivers flowing to the sea can also cause beaches to form. Many kinds of plants and animals make their homes on the beach. They must adjust to life in a salty environment.
