COURSES I TEACH

Courses in the Mathematics Education Option of the MA in Education are designed to prepare teachers for leadership roles to improve mathematics learning in elementary and middle schools. The courses, which relate theory and research to teaching mathematics to diverse learners, emphasize the use of appropriate technologies and active learning for mathematical understanding.

I also teach in the master's degree program in Instructional Technology. The computer courses that are part of the mathematics education concentration and are included in the instructional technology program are listed at the end of the table below.
