Physics Education Research Group

Welcome to the Physics Education Research (PER) Group.

The PER group is one of the many research groups in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at California State University, Los Angeles.

Our PER group conducts research to investigate and develop ways of making the teaching and learning of physics more effective and efficient.

We provide many opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students interested in PER. As a member of our PER group, student researchers use qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as interviews, in-class data collection and data analysis. Student researchers can also participate in the development, evaluation, and implementation of research-based Physics curriculum and pedagogy.

Please contact us if you are interested in our group.
