Bryan Gutierrez is a physics major and a junior here at CSULA. He came to this country at age thirteen from Mexico. Bryan says the first time he saw a nuclear power plant, he knew that that was where he wanted to work. Bryan plans to continue his education well into the graduate level, and is planning to take the GRE this fall.
Bryan is involved in nuclear physics research under the guidance of Professor Konrad Aniol. Much of their research is conducted at the Jefferson Lab in Virginia, where Bryan is hoping to intern during the summer.
Bryan has two great loves - physics and soccer. He plays center forward. Bryan is a big fan of Mexico's team America. He's rooting for Mexico in this year’s World Cup Championship.
