Position: Non-renewable position as Visiting Faculty/Entrepreneur-In-Residence for the 2013-14 academic year. 

Starting Date: October 1, 2013 

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education is required at the time of employment. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication, and an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic environment. The successful candidate should have experience working with students on turning their ideas into business models, as well as demonstrated potential for building entrepreneurial programs in a university setting. 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should provide record of at least one successful entrepreneurship venture.  The Entrepreneur in Residence should show evidence of experience with networking, mentoring and coaching others who are launching or engaged in entrepreneurial ventures.  This will involve assistance with introductions to prospective investors and other individuals who may be supporters of the Institute, or who may be useful to business incubation.

Duties: Duties include building and strengthening the CBE Entrepreneurship Institute, creating new Entrepreneurship initiatives for CBE; formulating a plan for all entrepreneurship programs and activities within the College; recommending ways of connecting CBE to successful Entrepreneurs and investor funding; teaming up with CBE faculty in developing and delivering educational programs targeted in areas such as Innovation, Social Entrepreneurship, Coaching and Training for Entrepreneurs.  It is also important to seek grants and other external funding for the Institute, and to work closely with outside experts and resources required for development and delivery of the Entrepreneurship program.

Salary: Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
