1ENGL 102 is required of all students.  A minimum C grade is required.  A C- grade is not acceptable.
2If student does not have a transfer course equivalent to POLS 205 then student must take POLS 205 using these 4 elective units.[1]
3ENGL 101 and 102 must be completed before registering for UNIV 400 and take the Writing Proficiency Exam (WPE).  You must take the WPE by the time you have completed 135 units.

Students must take two diversity courses in the General Education program.  Normally Upper Division transfer students meet the diversity course requirement by having taken an upper division theme with two diversity courses in it.  These couses are marked with a (d) next to them.
This Roadmap assumes GE certification with 89 transfer units, with the following courses completed in the major: POLS 205 and 281. If POLS 205 and 281 have not been completed students must use the Year 3 Fall and Winter Free  Electives to complete these requirements in the major (see footnotes 2 and 4).
