What's New

  • The Afro Latin Ensemble To Perform in China

    IMSEDr. Paul De Castro and the Afro Latin Ensemble have been invited to perform at the 29th World Conference of the International Society for Music Education (ISME) held in Beijing, August 1-6, 2010. The ensemble is among a select group of ensembles chosen to represent the myriad styles and genres that reflect the musical diversity of our globe. Being selected from the 100s of groups that applied is a wonderful honor for Dr. De Castro and the ensemble. It is also a superb opportunity to showcase the Department of Music and our fine musical programs.  In addition to concerts in Beijing, the ensemble will travel to the city of Tianjin for a performance in their Concert Hall.
