Assessment of student learning is crucial in every college and the university. Although students come to us with a variety of skills and challenges, it is imperative that we state our expectations for student learning and monitor student learning achievement. Our mission is to create a culture of evidence through meaningful, manageable and sustainable assessment of student learning outcomes that leads to enhanced programmatic and organizational effectiveness. The purpose of assessing student outcomes is to improve teaching and learning at the individual, course, program and institutional level. CSULA Assessment Policy appears here.
